Quick Heal solution to track stolen laptops

In an initiative which will help law enforcement agencies to track stolen laptops across the country, Quick Heal Technologies, country's leading anti virus solution provider, today launched a new service called Laptop Tracker in Kerala market.

The technology marks the beginning of a unique synergy between corporate entities and law enforcement agenecies, Vice President Corporate Communications, M J Srikant, told reporters here.

The company has also held discussions with the police authorities about the service, he said.

This is a Corporate Social Responsbility initiative by the company to help users as well law enforcement agencies to track stolen across the country. 'We are keen to get feedback on this emerging technology and the scenario arising there from', he said.

The service can help trace a laptop when it is lost or misplaced and help police and law enforcement agencies in trying to trace the owners when they recover laptops. Besides, it will also help customers to determine whether a laptop has been stolen when buying a second hand laptop.

The new technology has been launched in Indore, Jaipur, Coimbatore and Hyderabad.
