Global application language enablement solutions provider, LinguaNext, has forayed into India by acquiring home-grown Image Point Technologies and eyes an over Rs 300 crore revenue in the next three years, a top company executive has said.

LinguaNext will offer local language solutions mainly in the e-governance, insurance and human resource verticals.

"We expect the demand for local language solutions to grow in the next two to three years. Our acquisition of Image Point enables us to build on their position as a trusted software provider to large public sector companies," the US-based LinguaNext's CEO, Atul Tulshibagwale, told PTI here.

Image Point is already active in the application language enablement space in the country, with a strong focus on the banking vertical.

The company is looking at capturing 10 per cent of the Rs 22,000 crore e-governance market taking its revenue to around Rs 300 crore in the next three-years, he said. "We also expect a more than Rs 10 crore business each in the insurance and human resource verticals in the next one year," he said.

Application language enablement solutions provide an enterprise-wide platform that enables all applications like Microsoft, SAP and Oracle to become multi-lingual.

"English skills cost companies and governments a huge amount, as less than five per cent of the population is able to understand it. We will enable customers to localise any application through our software called SPeeD Suite," he said.

LinguaNext, headquartered in Pune, has more than 2,000 enterprises as its customers and is present in five continents.
