Muralikrishnan appointed as Country Manager of eBay India

To be responsible for the eBay portfolio in India, Philippines and Malaysia

Online marketplace eBay India today announced the appointment of Muralikrishnan B as its Country Manager, with immediate effect, replacing Ambareesh Murty.

In his new role, Muralikrishnan will be responsible for the eBay portfolio in India, Philippines and Malaysia, eBay India said in a statement

He has taken over from Murty, who has led eBay India as Country Manager since March, 2008.

Muralikrishnan joined eBay in 2005, held a variety of leadership roles in eBay India, most recently as Senior Director ? Marketing and Product Management.

In the course of his career, Muralikrishnan has worked with Asian Paints managing Sales and Administration in various rural markets.

"Indian eCommerce is rapidly evolving and eBay is uniquely positioned to continue to lead this growth. I am delighted to take on my new role and look forward to further strengthening our leadership position," eBay India Country Manager Muralikrishnan said
