Nodal officers begin training on spl software

Software deployed for the Chief Minister's Office to monitor and track tasks assigned to the various departments under its 100-days initiative

Nodal officers designated for the 100-day task given to various departments undertook a familiarisation course on Friday on the software developed to facilitate monitoring and evaluation of projects underway with the departments in Gangtok.

The training was held at the Tashiling Secretariat conference hall.

n-Dimensions Research & Training Services Pvt Ltd of Gurgaon, Haryana, has developed a software for the Chief Minister's Office to monitor and track tasks assigned to the various departments under its 100-days initiative.

It is an online, web-based platform which can be accessed by permission of the administrators and will post policy, objectives and scheme components which can be entered with the approval of the CMO.

Principal Secretary, CMO, RS Basnett, in his address on Friday, apprised the officers about deliberations of the last meeting with the HoDs to designate computer-literate Under Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries as nodal officers for the 100-days tasks.

He also urged the officers to display pro-activeness and also asked the resource persons from the nDimensions to provide hands-on training to the designated officers in the coming days.
