Polaris software lab launches FT Grid

Partners with IndenTrust and IBM to offer services in banking domain

Taking cue from the growing opportunities on cloud computing platform, Financial Technology company Polaris Software Lab has launched its first Financial Technology Grid to offer services in banking domain.

Polaris Software Lab has partnered with IdenTrust and largest information technology major IBM to offer this service, a release said.

FT Grid is the largest cloud offering with a capacity to cater to 100 million customers.It would enable Polaris to offer its Financial Technology infrastructure and banking products on a pay per use model to banks and financial institutions.

Polaris Software Lab Chairman and CEO Arun Jain said FT Grid would be offered in different variants -- FT Grid 7010 Core Banking, FT Grid 8010 for Capital market clients and FT Grid 9010 to Corporate Banking.

He said for the FT Grid, the company has invested Rs 100 crore for this business.

He said the company was expecting to generate business of USD 100 million in the next five years from this FT Grid.
