Razi Healthcare adopts cloud computing solution of TCS' iON

Intend to modernise patient care with electronic medical records and augment medical services

Hyderabad-based Razi Healthcare has announced that it will adopt cloud computing solutions offered by Tata Consultancy Services's (TCS) iON. iON is a unit of TCS that provides cloud computing solutions.

"With the help of iON we intend to modernise patient care profiles with electronic medical records and augment medical services for long-term preservation, easy access and more accurate treatments," Razi Healthcare CEO N V Subba Rao said in a statement today.

Over the last few months, Razi Healthcare has been setting up primary healthcare clinics in Hyderabad and parts of Andhra Pradesh.

The company has set up 33 such clinics in the state.

"Healthcare is a fast growing sector and our endeavour is to ensure that Razi offers its patient's best-in-class healthcare products and services to expand its footprint across India," V Ramaswamy, Global Head, iON, TCS said.

Cloud computing service providers offer hardware and software services on pay-per-use basis.
