Sify bags CMAI awards

'Best Data Centre' and 'Innovations in Enterprise Solutions' award to Sify.

IT company Sify Technologies has bagged the 'Best Data Centre' and 'Innovations in Enterprise Solutions' Award instituted by non-profit trade promotion organisation Communication and Manufacturing Association of India (CMAI).

The award was presented by Union Minister of State for IT and Communication, Sachin Pilot and Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jyotiraditya Madhavrao Scindia at the 5th National Telecom Awards 2011 held at New Delhi recently, a company statement here said.

"We are greatly honoured to receive these awards from CMAI. These accolades could not have been better timed. Over the last we have been continuously investing to build our capabilities in Managed services", Sify Technologies CEO and Managing Director Raju Vegesna said.

Sify Technologies has so far invested nearly USD 100 million in the data centres. It currently has data centres in Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai, the statement added.
