To highlight development works undertaken by all the 90 MLAs in Haryana, separate websites with details from various constituencies will be prepared soon, State Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Sharma said on Saturday. For this purpose, a software was being developed in Andhra Pradesh, Sharma said at Karnal.

He said that laptops and computer related equipment were being provided to all legislators in the state and training would also be imparted to those who do not know how to use the gadgets. The Speaker said that live coverage of the proceedings of Vidhan Sabha session in future would further bring transparency in its functioning.

Sharma said that the legislators should also discuss social issues like female foeticide, declining sex ratio, drug abuse, dowry system, child marriage and corruption during sessions of the Vidhan Sabha. Apart from this, they should listen to the grievances of the people by visiting their assemblies once in a week, he said, adding this would enhance their popularity and credibility.
