Fast-growing South Korean Internet daily deal site Ticket Monster says it has acquired a Malaysian company in its first move overseas. Ticket Monster said on Tuesday that the acquisition of Integrated Methods Sdn Bhd heralds the beginning of its Asian expansion plans.

Ticket Monster CEO Daniel Shin said, "We want to aggressively grow internationally." He told reporters the company also aims to expand into Singapore, the Philippines, Vietnam and Japan. Seoul, South Korea-based Ticket Monster did not disclose terms of the Malaysian deal.

Integrated Methods is the holding company for social shopping site Everyday.com.my.Shin co-founded Ticket Monster Inc. in May last year.
