'Sugam' portal launched in Rajasthan

Union minister of State for Public Grievances and Pension and Rajasthan Chief Minister launch grievances redressal portal

Union minister of State for Public Grievances and Pension V Narayanaswamy and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot today launched a grievances redressal portal 'Sugam' and digitally signatured certificate system here.

Narayanaswamy said that through the online grievance redressal and monitoring system, the state government is empowering the common man and also government officials to redress public grievances in an effective manner.

He said that e-governance has been dealt in details in the 11th report of second administrative reforms committee and the portal is a good effort in this direction.

Chief minister Ashok Gehlot said that to encourage more use of information technology, the government officers should change their mindset.

He said that all the heads of departments and the district collectors should ascertain that the grievances received online be redressed in an effective and time bound manner.
