Tera Software gets Rs 62.7-cr orders from UIDAI, ECIL

Fresh orders include UIDAI order from Central Bank of India, State Bank of Travencore, Dena Bank, States of Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh and Goa

IT company Tera Software today said it has received work orders worth Rs 62.74 crore from the Unique Indetification Authority of India (UIDAI) and the Electronics Corporation of India Ltd.

"The company is already engaged with the national prestigious projects of UIDAI and NPR Projects with their order valued Rs 76.20 crore. In addition to that, the company received fresh work orders of Rs 62.74 crore," Tera Software said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The fresh orders received include UIDAI order from Central Bank of India, State Bank of Travencore, Dena Bank, State Government of Goa for AADHAAR implementation in the States of Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh and Goa.

The value of the work order would be approximately Rs 48.67 crore covering 148 lakhs population over a period of one year, the company said.

National Population Register order received from ECIL, Hyderabad is worth Rs 14.07 crore for implementation of National Population Registry in West Bengal.

The shares of the company closed 3.62 per cent higher at Rs 52.90 a piece on BSE.
