Wipro Infocrossing to open data center in US

Data centre in Cleveland county will help spread data center footprint

Wipro Infocrossing, a Wipro group company, today said it will set up a data centre in North Carolina, US.

Wipro Infocrossing has purchased an existing structure in Cleveland County, North Carolina, and will convert the building to a new data centre to support its growing IT infrastructure business, Wipro Infocrossing said in a statement.

However, the investment details were not disclosed.

"Our vision for our Cleveland County data center is to not only increase our data center footprint, but build a data center that brings the best infrastructure technology to our clients," Wipro Infocrossing President Sameer Kishore said.

Wipro Infocrossing provides IT management solutions for large and mid-size enterprises. It recently announced the addition of a new data center in Meerbusch, Germany.

"The addition of the Cleveland County data center will enhance our capabilities and capacity, positioning us for greater marketshare," Martha Bejar President Global Sales and Operations Wipro said.
