Ybrant Digital, a city-based digital marketing company, on Tuesday unveiled a new technology solution for complying with Facebook's latest regulations for advertising on applications.

The solution, Facebook Quality Control Center (QCC), has been built on AppNexus, the real-time platform for ad networks. It is designed to protect the user experience and ensure that only the most relevant and acceptable ads are shown to visitors, the company said.

"Facebook came out with a set of guidelines last year.

They do not want their users to get irrelevant ads and we are the first to pick those guidelines. This gives the user an option to directly complain to us or Facebook if there is a complaint with ads," Suresh Reddy, CEO of Ybrant, said.

He said Ybrant's QCC offers a "plug & play" solution for Facebook Application publishers, which allows them to instantly adapt advertisements to Facebook's new parameters.

Replying to question, Reddy said Lycos, a search engine acquired by Ybrant last year, may contribute 20 to 25 per cent to the overall revenues of the company in FY 12.
