The Jammu and Kashmir assembly will on September 28 debate and vote on the controversial resolution demanding clemency for Guru, who was sentenced to death for his involvement in the attack on parliament in December 2001.

The resolution has been moved by independent MLA Sheikh Abdul Rashid.

The protests would be held in all the districts of Jammu region, two districts of Ladakh region and in Srinagar district of Kashmir Valley, Manhas said while criticising the statement of Omar Abdullah that hanging of Guru would "disturb" situation in Kashmir.

Replying to another question on centre's interlocutors, state BJP chief said, "We have rejected interlocutors. We do not give them recognition."
