Do not blame the politicians

Runal Bhanamagi | March 19, 2012

Don't blame the politicians for the situation today. The solution lies in didactics, I think; politicians should not be blamed for the situation today. In a democratic nation like ours, framers of constitution believed in 'Lex Rex and not Rex Lex' principle, it states that Law is king and not King is Law. And the people can frame the laws indirectly through their elected representatives in the parliament. The situation today we face is full of troubles right from cradle to grave. This situation calls for the reforms in almost all spheres (socio-politico-economic-administrative) like Electoral reforms, Educational reforms, Janlokpal, reforms in judiciary and so on.

The best possible solution for this is to contest elections rather than playing the blame game with the politicians. Because all the reforms that are suggest needs to be passed by the 'Loyal' ministers sitting in the parliament. And more than 60years have already passed waiting for the day we dream for our nation. The real authority lies in 'We the people of India' as enshrined in our preamble. Generating awareness among the masses regarding voting and its impacts is a prerequisite .The statistics show that on an average only around 50-60% voters vote. And among them, people possessing ill ideology, illiterate, visionless masses, tops the lists. There are many youngsters who are not aware of their rights, many who say politics as 'dirty politics', 'we hate politics', many who would go for auditions of reality shows, struggling and spending whole day without food for shows and with the loss of academics, but would not spend a holiday which is meant for voting, and this voting can have impact on each and every person's life. So there is need for didactics relating to our country's profile (socio-politico-economic-administrative) to all the masses. This will surely bring the change, once good people start gaining majority than all the reforms will be brought and implemented .It is time consuming but will have a greater impact on life of each and everyone.
