I am still searching for answers to my questions

India is a democratic country where each and every person has a right to elect their representative and live life as they want. But Is India really democratic? Is India really growing? Is India really rising?

All these questions always rushed in my mind and every time I found myself clueless. I sit quiet without any answer and don’t even try to find the answers because we (people) are so busy in our personal lives and don’t want to increase our problems by bothering others and even our country.

As we all know corruption has now become a fundamental right of every person in India, be it a politician or media person or bureaucrat. Everybody is busy making profit for oneself; nobody cares about what’s happening around them. If a politician is spending money for their win, how can you expect that they would not take bribe in future? They will definitely take the bribe for refilling their pockets again.

When these politicians are not able to solve the domestic problems, how can you expect anything else from them? We made so many big buildings and yet so many poor persons need a roof on their heads. Every time I travel by the road I see many helpless people standing on the roadside and they are the so called ‘street vendors’. Every day they face so many problems and they are not able to do anything about their problems because they are poor, uneducated and can’t raise their voice – that is what every police officer tells them.

Is the government doing anything for them? If yes, what? And still we say we are growing, but in what context I don’t know. Growth of the nation depends on the condition of its own people but here growth means making money for itself.

These questions are still unanswered because nobody is able to answer them and we can’t expect answers from our representatives.

But I want a real growth of India, real growth means better condition of its people, education to everyone and solve problems at home first, then make the good relations on the international front because if you are not able to make good relations with your own people how can you make these relations with the external persons?

Internal improvement is a must for the growth of India and we have to focus on that.
