In order to ensure that fresh recruits understand the overall functioning and aims of the organisation, the Delhi development authority (DDA) has organised a three-week training programme for its newly recruited lower division clerks [LDCs].

The programme, which has been organised at the DDA HRD Institute in Delhi, aims to impart both theoretical and practical training to the 100 new recruits. The training programme was inaugurated by Delhi lieutenant governor Najeeb Jung on Monday.

Addressing the gathering, Jung said that it was important for staff to understand the various aspect of the authority’s work culture and also urged them to ensure complete honesty and integrity in the discharge of their duties.

Appreciating the authority’s efforts to induct new staff, Jung said that this practice would bring in newer ideas which could help the authority in its functioning.
