Jharkhand assembly to be dissolved?
UPA2 does not want a BJP govt in the state
GN Bureau | New Delhi | September 07 2010
Speculation in corridors of power in Delhi is that the centre wants Jharkhand assembly to be dissolved to spoil BJP’s bid to form a government.
The Congress core group and the union cabinet are meeting later Tuesday to take stock of the situation in Jharkhand. The Congress does not want to give a chance to BJP to form a government as Bihar is going in for polls.
If BJP succeeds in forming a government in Jharkhand, its morale would be boosted in the neighbouring state too. The centre is also seeking legal opinion.
