Manmohan to return from New York on Tuesday night

GN Bureau | September 27, 2011

Come Wednesday, prime minister Manmohan Singh will have to tackle many contentious issues that have made headline in the last few days when he was in New York for the UN general assembly meeting. The Telangana and Kudankulam protests will need immediate attention even as he has to juggle those with the issue of the 2G note that rocked the government. He is expected to meet a delegation of leaders from different Tamil parties on the Kudankulam issue. He may also have to meet a DMK team over K Kanimozhi’s release.
