BSNL 3G in Bhopal circle from next month

Efforts to improve mobile and internet services

BSNL will start its 3G services to provide advance features in Bhopal circle from next month.

"We are going to start 3G service from next month. The date of its launch has yet been finalised," BSNL Bhopal Circle General Manager G C Pandey told reporters here today.

He said they were working on the 3G which will also better our mobile and internet services.

Asked that BSNL was loosing its post paid mobile phone segment customers, he said it was right, adding it was due to migration to the pre paid connections.

Customers now do not want to stick to post paid service, Pandey said adding they keep of changing to different mobile phone service providers for want of cheap telephony.

He said they were having around 25,000 post paid mobile customers, adding there total cell phone connection base was 1.60 lakh in Bhopal circle.

Meanwhile, the BSNL today launched around 11 attractive schemes for promoting its mobile services, including one paise for 3 seconds talk scheme.
