Don't misuse internet in office: Raj govt warns employees

Term it as misuse of government resources

To curb practice of downloading of games and audio-videos, surfing social networking sites and watching live matches, the government of Rajasthan has asked its employees to refrain themselves from such practices terming it as "misuse of government resources".

"The government has issued a circular warning the employees of all departments that internet connection will be discontinue if any misuse of the facility, provided only for official uses, was reported," officials said in the state capital on Monday.

"Official functioning gets affected several times just due to the downloading of audio video files, online games or use of social networking sites," they added.
