ISE ties up with TCS to provide software solutions

Inter-connected Stock Exchange of India, a bourse promoted by 13 regional stock exchanges, today said it has tied up with leading outsourcing firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to provide software solutions to its yet to be launched trading platform.

The software would enable multi-exchange, multi-asset class trading on a single platform, and integrates the surveillance, risk, clearing, and settlement platforms for better operational efficiency and uniformity, Inter-connected Stock Exchange (ISE) said in a press release.

ISE, would offer services like cost-effective trading, clearing and settlement, risk management and surveillance support to over 800 trading members across 79 cities in the country through its nine branches.

"The first phase will be the launch of live trading on ISE platform scheduled to begin in October 2010,? ISE Managing Director P J Mathew said.

The second phase would witness ISE hosting a trading platform especially for small and medium enterprises, ISE said in press release.
