iYogi partners with NICE for better data analytics

NICE says they are trying to make government services better by working on government data

GN Bureau | March 6, 2013

iYogi, a company specialising in providing tech support services to businesses, on Wednesday partnered with NICE process analytics to be better able to analyse data for its business in the future.

Raghav Sahgal from NICE said that the company currently works with technology to analyse masses of information for security related data provided by such places at airports, metros and parliament. “We analyse data to better manage situations for preventive as well as for post-crisis situations,” he said.

“Services to the citizens should be like the ones in the private sector; our intent is how to make the experience better,” said Sahgal.

He also said that they are looking in to adding more SMS-based applications and are in talks with the government to bring more services in the mobile space. “We are trying to make government experience better; however, if we ask whether we have done anything about it as yet, then the answer would be no.

We are one of the many people whom the government is in talks with to make the customer experience better,” he said. Sandeep Sharma from NICE said that the company is looking into scheduling the workforce of the government as it is the biggest enterprise in India with the biggest customer base.
