Leh post office to offer internet services

Upgraded post-office would remain functional till 8 in the evening for convenience of the tourists

Facilities like internet, printing and telephone will be available from tomorrow at the Leh post office, State Minister of Tourism Nawang Rigzin Jora said in Srinagar.

These facilities would be available over and above the normal postal services at the Leh post office, he said. The upgraded post-office would remain functional till 8 in the evening for convenience of the tourists.

Minister lauded the initiative of Department of Posts, saying the facility would help tourists in general and foreign tourists visiting Ladakh region in particular.
