State mission agriculture project approved

Constituted twenty district agriculture implementation teams for implementation of the national e-governance plan

The Centre has approved the Assam state mission project on agriculture under the national e-governance plan. 

The project envisages electronic delivery of services of the 12 identified services clusters and of other services to be prioritised by the statement to the farmers and other stake holders, according to an official press release issued in the state capital on Monday.

The projects are related to nine administrative departments and the pilot project involves the development and operationalisation of applications within a time limit of nine months. In pursuance, the Governor of Assam has constituted twenty district agriculture implementation teams for implementation of the national e-governance plan.
