Kamlesh Singh and wife allegedly has assets worth Rs 5.42 crore

The Central Bureau of Investigation on Monday filed a charge sheet against former Jharhand minister Kamlesh Singh for possessing assets disproportionate to his source of income in the special court of CBI in Ranchi. The probe agency has also booked his wife for possessing disproportionate assets.

Singh, a former minister for water resources and civil supplies in the state government, and his wife allegedly possessed disproportionate assets worth around Rs. 5.42 crore. A case was registered by the investigating agency after it was transfered from the Jharkhand state vigilance in pursuance of the Jharkhand High Court order against Madhu Koda, the then chief minister and three ex-ministers of Jharkhand.

CBI has already filed two separate charge sheets against Madhu Koda and his associates for alleged misuse of an official position and two ex-Minister for allegedly possessing disproportionate assets.
