Protesters' guide to action today

[This is based on an 'information bulletin' from the supporters of Anna Hazare and his colleagues.]

Today 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm LIGHTS OFF across the nation in protest of Anna’s arrest and this dark day for our democracy.

Nationwide Protests in Support of Anna’s Indefinite fast
As Anna’s fast nears, people are conducting various events across the country. When Anna sits on fast in Delhi from 16th Aug, many people will start indefinite fasts or relay-fasts, besides rallies and dharnas in their respective areas. Being a decentralised people’s movement, there are numerous local activities going on, in remote villages, cities and in foreign cities too. Some prominent ones are as follows:

Uttar Pradesh:
