Going by the leads, the BJP is set to establish its stronghold in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh. Confident of his party’s victory, prime minister Narendra Modi even flashed a victory sign while walking into the parliament today morning. 

After a neck and neck contest in the early morning, BJP is set to win a fifth consecutive term in Gujarat. In Himachal Pradesh too, the party is set to form the government despite BJP’s chief ministerial candidate Prem Kumar Dhumal trailing in Sujanpur constituency.
