In the aftermath of senior Haryana IAS officer Dr Ashok Khemka blowing the lid off Robert Vadra-DLF deals in the state and appearing on television channels after he was transferred in an unexplained haste, Congress party has aksed its leaders to kep away from live TV debates.

According to unconfirmed reports, Congress spokespersons have been asked to keep away from television channels and not participate in live discussions. 

In a letter to Haryana chief secretary PK Chaudhary, Khemka said, “It is shocking to learn about my abrupt transfer... this is deliberate and malafide to punish me due to some vested elements in the political-bureaucratic hierarchy affected by the expose of the scams in consolidation of land holdings under the exercise of powers.”

According to sources, the party smarting under expose of bungling of funds in an NGO controlled by law minister Salman Khurshid’s family, found union minister Beni Prasad Verma’s defence of Khurshid confusing and embarrassing. Verma had said that Khurshid, a central minister, is unlikely to be involved in bungling of such small funds.
