A robot will treat cancer and other diseases at Delhi’s Safdarjung hospital.
Union minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey informed parliament that for operationalisation of robotic system in the Department of Urology and Renal Transplantation of Safadarjung Hospital, for the benefit of patients suffering from cancer, prostate and other related diseases including renal transplant, the required infrastructure and manpower are ready.
“For installation of equipment, Safdarjung hospital have already placed the purchase order,” said the minister.
