Rajnath Singh to announce team on March 20

No major representation from south India

Bharatiya Janata Party president Rajnath Singh is ready with a tentative list of the top leaders of BJP for the positions of general secretary and vice-president of the party.

Singh has discussed the tentative list with the RSS leaders after which there were additions and deletions. He is to announce his new team on March 20.

There is no major representation from south India. Sushma Swaraj has objected to two names, while LK Advani wanted to push names of two of his close confidants.

The probable candidates:
General secretary: Anant kumar, Amit shah, Thavarchand Gehlot, Murali Dhar Rao, JP Nadda, Ram lal, Muqtar Abbas Naqvi, Balbir Punj, Jual Oram or Phagan Singh Kulsate, Saroj Pandey

Vice-president: Uma Bharti, CP Thakur, Harshwardhan, SS Ahluwalia, Yashwant Sinha, Shahnawaz, Vinay Katiyar, Kalraj Mishra, Prabhat Jha
