ICICI Securities launches Webetorial for financial learning

Service to enable retail investors and knowledge seekers to participate in various financial programmes offered by ICICIdirect Centre for Financial Learning using internet as a medium

ICICI Securities Ltd, the largest integrated securities firm, on Wednesday announced the launch of Webetorial - the live online classroom through ICICIdirect Centre for financial learning.

This service would enable retail investors and knowledge seekers to participate in various financial programmes offered by ICICIdirect Centre for Financial Learning using internet as a medium. This is the first-of-its-kind service offered in India by ICICIdirect.com, a company statement said here.

Webetorials are virtual classrooms where participants will be connected on a real-time basis to a financial expert on the internet from the convenience of their home, office or even a cyber cafe, the release said.

"The launch of Webetorial empowers investors to access quality financial knowledge from the convenience of their homes irrespective of the locations and with flexibility in timing," ICICI Securities EVP & Head - Product & Distribution Vineet Arora said.
