J-K govt launches first ever official website of sub-division

Dudu-Basantgarh sub-division is one of most remotest, mountainous belt of Jammu and Kashmir, battered by the militancy in the state

Dudu-Basantgarh of Udhampur district on Tuesday became the first sub-division in Jammu and Kashmir to have its own official website.

"Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Raman Bhalla launched the first ever official website of a sub- division (Dudu-Basantgarh) in Jammu and Kashmir," Basantgarh sub-divisional magistrate Amit Sharma said.

The website 'dudubasantgarh.gov.in' was launched by the Minister at Udhampur district headquarter, Sharma said.

Dudu-Basantgarh is one of most remotest and mountainous belt of Jammu and Kashmir, which was battered by the two- decade-long militancy in the state.

Jammu and Kashmir has already 22 district websites, 19 departmental or corporations websites and divisional websites to reach to the people.
