All browsing centres in the city would compulsorily have to install cyber cafe management and security solutions, city Police Commissioner P Balasubramanian said today.

Participating at a meet organised to demonstrate the efficacy of India's only free of cost Cyber cafe Security management and Accounting Software here,he said until now most cybercafes maintained visitors data in registers which was not only inefficient information management, but difficult to retrieve when required.

He said some anti-social elements were using cyber cafes to send threatening messages or commit cyber crimes of various sorts. Clink cyber cafe manager waS an initiative from Ideaacts Innovations to ensure Cyber cafes do smooth, secure and safe business and assist in National security.

M Krishna Swami, Head,Retail,Ideacts Innovations,said cyber cafes contributed to 47 per cent of access point for internet usage in India and were the single largest source of internet and hence their digital management and security were critical.

CLINK cyber Cafe manager would provide a hygenic and convenient environment for its users.It would also empower giving out maximum information to law enforcement agencies when needed, he claimed.
