Pilot to distribute 1,000 free mobiles with connection to BPLs

Move as part of CSR efforts of BSNL

Minister of State for IT and Communications Sachin Pilot would distribute 1,000 mobile handsets with BSNL connections to BPL families near Jaipur tomorrow, according to a BSNL official.

"Under the corporate-social responsibilities, BSNL will provide 1,000 mobiles with connections free to BPL families in Phagi town of the district. Pilot as Chief Guest would distribute the mobiles," RK Goyal, Assistant RPT Assistant General Manager, BSNL, said today in a release.

"State Food and Civil Supply Minister Babu Lal Naagar would also attend the function at government senior secondary school in the town," he added.
