Portal launched by Gujarat govt for investment promotion

Software to help identification of suitable land

Those preferring to invest in Gujarat, will now have a single window online registration facility, besides a software support system that enables them to spot suitable land for the purpose in the state.

Gujarat Government today launched a portal offering online registration facility for investors, besides a software that facilitates identification of suitable land for integrating required infrastructure for industrial investment.

The 'portal-ifpgujarat.gov.in' designed by Tata Consultancy Services was launched ahead of 5th edition of Vibrant Gujarat Summit-2011 beginning January 12 next year.

This portal with interactive features will be an effective medium of information for the investors on government policies, incentive schemes and availability of infrastructure here, an official statement said.

While, the Geographical Information System (GIS)-based software developed by Bhaskaracharya Institute of Space Applications and Geo Informatics, will act as a guiding tool for the investors to identify suitable locations for making investments in Gujarat.
