PTI | August 4, 2010

IT firm Mahindra Satyam today said it has entered into a partnership with Sybase Software (India) to provide secured enterprise mobile solutions to customers across the globe.

The solutions to be provided by Mahindra Satyam to its customers would be based on Sybase Unwired Platform (SUP), a mobile enterprise application platform that provides enterprise developers with the ability to easily develop, deploy and manage mobile applications, the company said in a statement.

This will enable customers to create an information edge by optimising and enhancing the infrastructure they already own, connecting critical data resources and securely delivering information anytime and anywhere, it added.

"Our partnership with Mahindra Satyam allows us to enable our customers to deliver instant value by helping them maintain relationships with their end-customers, partners and suppliers to make quick decisions, on the device of their choice," Sybase India Pre-sales and Services Director Sudesh Prabhu said.

Sybase provides enterprise and mobile software to manage, analyse and mobilise information.
