ZenithOptimedia bags media planning account of OLX India

OLX provides online platform for buying and selling a wide range of products and services by placing advertisements on its website

ZenithOptimedia, a part of the Publicis Groupe, on Friday said it has bagged media planning and buying account of OLX -- an online platform for classified advertisements -- in India at after a multi-agency pitch. Annual business from the new account is estimated in the range of Rs 10-12 crore, ZenithOptimedia said in a statement.

"ZenithOptimedia's (ZO) sound strategy based on consumer and category understanding along with a strong focus on return on investment is what led to our winning this new-age business," ZO CEO Satyajit Sen said.

OLX is a privately held company founded in 2006, with operations in over 96 countries in 40 languages. It provides an online platform for buying and selling a wide range of products and services by placing advertisements on its website.

ZenithOptimedia was launched in India in 2004. The media planning company's client list includes Nestle, Reckitt Benckiser, Uninor, Videocon, Micromax, IDBI Federal, Wipro, Aviva Life Insurance, HTC, LVMH, GPI and Usha International.
