Karnataka Lokayukta N Santosh Hegde today said he has issued a notice to nodal officer on the relief works that were undertaken following floods that devastated many parts of the state last year.

"When I was examining that I received yet another complaint by Y S V Dutta, JDS Spokesperson that the amount collected by Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa during the padayatra held by him for flood relief was not being properly utilised and no proper relief work was on", he said.

"In this connection an enquiry is on. I am also awaiting a report from Jamdaar on the issue", Hegde said.
