BSNL says over 50 lakh subscribers have ported their number to BSNL from other operators in 2018-19 FY

State run BSNL has installed 54,000 telecom towers in the recently concluded 2018-2019 fiscal, which is higher than the combined figures of the previous three financial years.

 
BSNL claimed that over 50 lakh subscribers have ported their number to BSNL from other operators in 2018-19 FY, utilising the mobile number portability facility. As per latest TRAI report, BSNL is one of the two operators showing net addition of more than nine lakh new subscribers, in February 2019.
 
Recently BSNL has also offered Eros Now premium subscription free of cost that offers unlimited movies and exclusive video series to its consumers.
