230 Blueline buses to stay on Delhi roads

1300 Blueline buses to go off the roads from Monday evening

Permit cards of about 800 Blueline operators expired on Monday, bringing the number of such buses to 1600. However, about 230 out of 1600 operators might get the permission to ply the buses till June 1 if the Delhi high court orders for the same, said Amit Kumar, public relations officer, ministry of transport, Delhi government.

The Delhi transport corporation has made promises to operate 5500 buses in the morning and the same number in the evening to fill in the gap.
