The Allahabad High Court has stayed the implementation of results of the tests conducted by the Uttar Pradesh government for recruiting 35,000 constables.

The order was passed by Justice Bala Krishna Narayana on a writ petition filed by one Anuj Dhama of Meerut who had alleged that he had failed in the written tests, held last year, on account of certain errors in the question paper.

The court, in its order dated June 6, 2010, directed the state government to file its reply within a month.

The court has fixed July 26 as the next date of hearing in the matter.
