Meeting on Navi Mumbai airport on March 10

Meeting between central ministries and state officials has been convened to expedite project

A meeting of officials from the state and the centre would be held here on March 10 to expedite the Navi Mumbai Airport project.

The state and the union government officials from aviation and environment ministries, along with officials of CIDCO (local planning authority) would attend the meeting, sources said.

The meeting has been convened to expedite the project after it got the green signal from environment ministry.

Navi Mumbai Airport, the second airport in Mumbai, got nod from the environment and forests ministry in November last year.
