'Senior BJP leaders not to take facility from Mayawati govt'

About 350 leaders are expected to participate in the national working committee meeting next month

None of the chief ministers of BJP-ruled states and senior leaders, coming for the national working committee meeting next month, would accept facilities granted to them as state guests from the Mayawati government, a senior state BJP leader said today.

"Despite eligibility of being state guests, all the leaders as well as the chief ministers of various BJP-ruled states would not take the facilities granted to them and the party would itself make all preparations for their stay here," state unit president Surya Pratap Shahi told newspersons here.

The BJP president said that party leaders would not accept the facilities from the BSP government, which does not believe in courtesy and democracy and uses lathis on democratic agitations.

Shahi said that all preparations for the working committee meeting in which about 350 leaders are expected to take part have been completed.
