Weak, feeble Indian cricket

There are twenty hungry young IPL bred boys ready to go for it but we keep recycling the same old tired soldiers who should now be watching on TV

I am happy that Yuvraj is well and healthy but the cancer took its toll and it is typical Indian sentiment to boost him beyond his capabilities. It is heartbreaking to see the hypocrisy as we applaud every run he scores...like it was magical. Stop it.

By the same token Harbhajan, Balaji, Irfan Pathan are yesterday's people and already put to farm. Why resurrect them?

As for Rohit Sharma, he has had more chances than a roulette fanatic. Zaheer Khan is a joke, he needs to join Fitness First.

I am also tired of the inscrutable captain Dhoni and I find no glory or redemption in his inability to change his expression. He is not Mr Cool, he is simply lost in the wilds without a map.

Smell the coffee. There are twenty hungry young IPL bred boys ready to go for it but we keep recycling the same old tired soldiers who should now be watching on TV not playing.

I am all okay with losing a game but when you have no bottle and you are fat and sleek like Casca and there because of your connections and state affiliations then you are not the Indian team. Come to think of it, the BCCI is a private enterprise that pays taxes...technically this is the BCCi team not the indian team and we are getting taken for a ride all these years. This team is no more representative of India than the MCC is of England. Time to take out a Public Interest litigation.

The health sector research we are not doing

Some neglect is loud. This kind is quiet. It sits in research never commissioned, data never collected, questions never asked. In South Asia, that quiet has let the region’s worst health problems stay understudied, underfunded, and out of sight of those who could act.
